Meet alternative-pop artist The Reasn. His latest track "Better" was recently dropped and got on our radar.  I personally had no clue who this was so I pretty much closed my eyes and clicked play. The progression of the track got so stimulating that I had to pretend I was on The Voice and instantly hit the red button to turn my chair around. Is it a bad thing that I repeated the track over at least 3-4 times? I was able to sing along to track as I pressed play for the 3rd time... easy?...

Don't let the name of the track fool you - this video is anything but! According to her bio, Eriel Indigo identifies as an indigo child and is a forward thinker in terms of spiritual healing and revolutionary thought. This video, or short film if you prefer - it is 5 minutes long, is definitely a visual trip of whimsical fancy and otherworldly advenutes. Let me guide you through the notable WTF moments from Eriel Indigo's video.  1. White Girl at Coachella be like...   Girl!...

After a decade’s hiatus, Canadian rockers HEADSTONES released Love + Fury in 2013 to the delight of audiences in search of the band’s distinctive blend of high-octane rock ‘n’ roll. The band very much in form follows with One In The Chamber Music, a collection of a dozen fan-requested new arrangements of catalogue favourites as well as two brand-new titles, Laugh Lines and first single Colourless, which is available as an instant gratification for...

Of course he's no Beyoncé when it comes to dropping a new album out of nowhere, but Drake does like his share of surprises with some new songs here and there. This past Sunday, a new track from the Toronto rapper began floating around the internet titled, "How About Now".   A female voice recording starts off the track (a bit of Nicki Minaj featuring Toronto slang perhaps?), followed by the instrumental. The song samples Jodeci's, "My Heart Belongs To You". Drake strictly raps on this one...

Alternative R&B artist FKA Twigs has just released a collaboration with Google Glass titled #throughglass. The Twigs directed video features a reworked version of LP1 album cut "Video Girl" and probably the most intense routine she's done in a music video since... this. The video stands as a visual commentary on modern identity and how quickly it can be stolen, by way of a google search, ironically. It's also what you might imagine a Darren Aronofsky directed "Single Ladies" would have...

Last Sunday was the closing day of Festival du Nouveau Cinema and you bet your ass I was going to watch a movie. Since Halloween is just around the corner and I’ve been binging on True Blood (shoutouts to Kelly’s hard drive) I decided to try my luck on the indie flick A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night labelled as the 1st "Iranian Vampire Western" on their facebook page. Filmmaker Ana Lily Amirpour took viewers on a captivating and enigmatic ride with her black & white movie about a...
