Azealia Banks – L8R (video)

Harlem, NY’s avant-garde up-and-comer Ms Azealia Banks (pronounced Ah-Zee-Lee-Yah) delivers her first video got “L8R” – a minute and a half of pure 808s, kick snares, and uncensored XXX swag coming from this cute young chick equipped with lipstick on a mouth like Uncle Luke, and a signature Uptown flow unheard of since Dipset. “LR8” is the latest of many collabos Miss Banks has worked on with Brooklyn based producer Machinedrum, who is quickly carving out his status as electronic music’s Renaissance man. In just over 90 seconds, Miss Banks explodes with raw confidence, flawless cadence on the beat, and a natural ability to excite the fellas with looks to match the rhymes. Be sure to keep an eye on her debut album to be released on XL Recordings.

  • The music video for Little Ghost's track "Molly" tells the story of childhood friends Frankie and Victor as they negotiate the world of early adolescence, landing somewhere between romance and friendship, and struggling against their slow drift apart. • A special moment happened during the VMA’s, when Nicki Minaj won an award for Anaconda for Best Hip-Hop video. Minaj accepted the award and called out host Miley Cyrus: “And now, back to this bitch who had a lot to say about me in the press - Miley, what’s good?” Cyrus stumbled together an apology, trying to relate to Minaj by saying: “Hey, we’re all in this industry, we all do interviews, and we all know how they manipulate shit.” The media does manipulate shit, but it didn’t manipulate what...
  • This little app called Snapchat is definitely trending right now. It's a place where you can totally be yourself (or not) through a 10 seconds video that people can watch once. This "burn after reading" app also has an option where you can send the snaps to all your friends and create your "Story". Snaps uploaded in the "My Story" section are kept alive for 24h and die... and then get thrown out of the galaxy and disappear forever. We've got to admit, it is a really entertaining app, but...
