Our good friends Jerome P (half of LOL Boys) and Samo Sound Boy decided to team up for a side-project titled DJ Dodger Stadium. They concentrate on mixing Chicago vibes with L.A described as high powered ghetto house. Thanks to the website Instructables we can all get in touch with our Scottish side.  One of the website's users, PenfoldPlant, posted a Haggis recipe but with a little bit of a twist. He called it the Haggis pop.  This traditional Scotish meal can be made in nine steps all you'll need is the heart, lungs, liver and stomach of a sheep. Along with a few other things; some red onions, suet, oats and household spices.  In other words, what might be the most...

Listen to this once, and you'll be hooked. Ain't No Love is a favourite of IX Daily and we've been covering them ever since they started. Following their last music video release for their track "Summa", here comes the rain. The Toronto-based trio brings their Montreal-infused vibes to the masses once again with "Cry In The Rain".  Produced by Toronto’s own Avenue (one of NOW Toronto’s “Ones To Watch”), the tracks been sitting it and around the top 25 on the Popular...

It seemed like Lindsay Lohan was trying to pull herself together after being in the hospital with an incurable virus that she caught while on vacation in French Polynesia. She had her lawyer hand in her completed list of 80 hours of community service, which she had to serve as punishment for her reckless driving incident in 2012. Lindsay Lohan got credit for 18 hours for doing meet and greets with fans after her London play Speed-The-Plow. There were 5 meet and greets listed for 3 hours each....

At first listen to Chelsea Lankes, she is everything I expected it to be, smooth seductive vocals and perfectly poppy. Her latest tune is something you'd find me saying every Friday night when I was 23: "Down For Whatever". It sounds like Purity Ring meets Miley Cyrus - in the best possible way.   Lankes' voice is the glue that holds the song together in the midst of cloudy and whimsical tunes that swell in and out of focus while the lyrics represent a young feminine anthem of youth...

First things first:  Ghostbusters is finally getting a reboot, but with WOMEN. That’s right. Bustin’ makes ladies feel good, too. The third movie with the original cast was scrapped, probably because Bill Murray is too busy being walking around cities and being weird. The all female lineup is Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Here's a brief introduction on their comedic/paranormal skills: Kristen Wiig Melissa McCarthy Kate McKinnon Leslie Jones Wasn't...

One of the biggest news stories at the start of 2015, was the nation-wide Target closures, which was a shock to some, and inevitable to others.  This was a case study on how difficult it is to break into the Canadian market, without considering Canadian consumer interests, and the way we shop.  Successful Japanese clothing retailers Uniqlo are making a go of it.  Their stores feature a full range of men’s, women’s and children’s items, and athletes like tennis star...

People who are fortunate enough to be living in our modern society with their basic human rights met. The right to shelter, food, education...have very few concerns. There is food on the dinner table, and if you blow all your student loan money on partying you can just take out another. It seems logical that we should have the right to privacy. Privacy on the Internet, when texting, while walking down the street. You don't. You have no right to privacy. But hey! When you already have so much...
