The Bloody Beetroots feat. Dennis Lyxzen - Church of Noise (Music Video)

As many people have said it, The Bloody Beetroots a.k.a Death Crew 77 are finally back. WAS ABOUT TIME RIGHT? Kind of tired of hearing Steve Aoki scream by playing all the multiple versions of Warped. Here they bring back their electronica sound with Dennis Lyxzen screaming his heart out to make all those lovely raving fans destroy that dance floor. Look forward to seeing more of the dynamic electronica/punk crew in the near future.

The inspiration for this article came a few weeks ago when I realized this fucking show is still on the air. After having obtained this pertinent information I proceeded to attempt convincing my friend Dave that we should totally go to a taping when we go to NYC for the sake of nostaligia. He said no. That's when I asked myself, ''was I the only 9 year old who had a secret obsession with Maury? Let us rewind a bit, taking you back to 1999/the early 2000's, When only rich people had cell...

PRE-KAYTRANADA The Hoxton was filing up nice just after eleven and people were vibing off Toronto DJ hrmxny. I mean when real tracks such as "Confessions" by Usher, "Ignition" by R.Kelly (classic) and a dope remix of "Pretty Boy Swag" by Soulja Boy comes on, obviously the crowd will be pleased and wildn' out . Next to keep the pre-show going was Sean Leon who confidently stepped up and instantly had mad crowd presence. Can't remember the last time I've seen a rapper have a bass...

When I was offered to cover the Bastille concert at the Air Canada Centre, I willingly accepted. Hailing all the way from London, Bastille delivers a clear message about spreading positivity. The Bad Blood Tour is the band's first time in North America, and Toronto's welcoming was nothing short of victorious. To me, Dan Smith's voice sounds like if Justin Vernon and Sam Smith were one: angelic. As Chris Malinchak would describe, many of the songs instill, "an icy warmth". It was a truly...

If you're unfamiliar with the show, House of Cards is a Netflix Original Series starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright. The two actors play Frank and Claire Underwood, an ambitious couple seeking power within the political circus of the White House. The show first aired on February 1st, 2013 and they are currently filming their third season to be released in early 2015. The series consists of the swindling, corruption, and most of all ambition that occurs within the politic realm of...

On October 17th, two dudes from Germany arrived in Toronto, dressed in two psychedelic-looking sweaters. Clemens Rehbein and Philipp Dausch, members of Milky Chance, smoked their cigarettes outside the Mod Virgin Club, where they later on played that day. This is what they had to say. THE INTERVIEW: IXDaily: So actually, the first question I have is, you met in school right? When? Clemens: Mhm. 11th grade, start of highschool, 5, 4, 6 years ago... [A lifetime perhaps?] IX: Was...

Catfish and the Bottlemen are probably the hottest UK band right now and yet most people haven’t heard of them. They have just released their debut album The Balcony, can be compared to The Strokes, and are currently on their first UK and US tour; their UK tour sold out pretty much instantly. And pretty soon, these four Brits will be taking over.  I have never been so excited to see a band in a very, very long time. I thought they would sell out The Echo in LA instantly, but they are...

Up and coming indie rockers The Well released the video for their beautiful debut single “Separate Ways.” The song is about the end of a relationship in which the couple decides to part ways because sadly sometimes love isn’t enough. The sextet made up of Norwegian brothers and cousins have created a romantic yet edgy rock song that is sure to grab your attention.   After getting the chorus, or the word “yea’” out of your head, you realize how great the song is. And while the lyrics are...
