The Bloody Beetroots feat. Dennis Lyxzen - Church of Noise (Music Video)

  • As many people have said it, The Bloody Beetroots a.k.a Death Crew 77 are finally back. WAS ABOUT TIME RIGHT? Kind of tired of hearing Steve Aoki scream by playing all the multiple versions of Warped. Here they bring back their electronica sound with Dennis Lyxzen screaming his heart out to make all those lovely raving fans destroy that dance floor. Look forward to seeing more of the dynamic electronica/punk crew in the near future.

      Lafaille FW14

Just because we're young and broke, doesn't mean we can't or don't have the appreciation for super fresh avant-garde designer wear. Montreal based designer, Benjamin Lafaille's namesake label's FW14 collection takes inspiration from the 'Deep Web' - a dark spectrum of deviant content and activity that sits hidden and not indexed by major search engines - resulting in a very considered yet crisp approach and understanding of the art of 'disciplined opulence'.  Lafaille's background in...

Kygo has been making waves in the EDM scene in the past year and it keeps on getting better for the Norwegian producer as he has just announced his Endless Summer Tour this fall. Kygo recent music has been blowing up all over soundcloud with his remix of “I See Fire” by Ed Sheeran notching up more than 10 million views. Wiz Khalifa made his way to the city of Toronto, this week, alongside DJ Drama, Mack Wildz, IAMSU, Sage the Gemini, Rich Homie Quan, Ty Dolla $ and Young Jeezy for his Under the Influence of Music summer tour. The Molson Amphitheater was filling up with highly enthusiastic fans as the night went on. I found myself surrounded by people from every age range wearing marijuana related attire and patiently waiting for the man of the hour to make his way to the stage. Seeing as though it was my...

With his Acid Rap mixtape, Chance the Rapper has already been noted as a refreshing and diverse act in the mainstream Rap scene. On Soundcloud, he’s managed to segregate himself even more with this modern, gospel, orchestral re-take on Arthur’s opening theme song. Prepare yourself for a beautifully-done ode to one the most proclaimed childhood favourites. This star-studded affiar initially premiered at Sasquatch! Music Festival and multiple live performances since. It...

Oh Kit Harington, you wonderful bastard! (Get it?) If you are not breaking hearts and taking arrows in Game of Thrones, you are fashionably giving us the Jon Snow smoldering stare in Jimmy Choo's new Fall Campaign. Mr. Harington's photographs for the campaign were taken in an L.A Mansion by photographer Peter Lindbergh. Upon asked why he chose Kit for his collection, Jimmy Choo said, "Kit was the perfect choice for the campaign, he has an innate confidence and a way of projecting a playfully...

Since the Unit reunited at SummerJam in June, the rap jaggernauts have been releasing remix after remix to some of the year's most notable hits in a bid to regain  the number one spot in the rap game once again. This time though they have remixed a classic song from three decades ago in the Gap Band's "Outstanding". 50 Cent, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Kidd Kidd, and Lloyd Banks all drop verses from the song and it seems that the once mighty Unit is hitting its stride once again.  Fif...
The Diaries of MEG Noobs: Rustie Really Likes Flamingos

Last time, I witnessed some stuff that I won’t be forgetting for some time. This time around, after what has already been 2 straight nights of going out, I’m stepping on some more familiar grounds and I’m taking a more laidback approach.  Alright, It’s night numero tres out on the town. If strippers grinding on the hippy version of Jesus hasn’t stopped me, I doubt much will. The star of this year’s MEG Showcase was Soulection with Eden Hagos, Andre Power, local powerhouse Da-P, and Sango...

This week Hilary Duff officially made her comeback come alive with her music video for "Chasing the Sun". It has been a  couple of years since we saw good o'l Lizzie McGuire make her way into a recording studio, but here we are with a new tune that is just as underwhelming as all of the others before it. I wanted to love this song really I did. I was rooting for the Duffster to come out of mommyhood as a suddenly crazy talented artist, but alas that is not exactly what is happening here....
