Singer/Songwriter Sam Smith Teams Up With Jimmy Napes, Nile Rodgers & Disclosure

Singer/songwriter Sam Smith recently teamed up with an all-star lineup consisting of Jimmy Napes (collaborator on both Naughty Boy's "La La La" and Disclosure's "Latch"), Chic co-founder and guitar player Nile Rodgers (extensively featured on the last Daft Punk album) & prolific house-flavoured pop duo of the year Disclosure just to tease us with a short 2 minutes gem.

The song is a fresh groove topped with proper blue-eyed soul accentuations and a subtle Steely Dan aftertaste. We can only hope this team effort will generate more music soon. See for yourself. Stream below!

There are 3 more days left for you to get a chance to get your fingers on a ziplock bag filled with what seems like Kanye West's Yeezus Tour Air:  Yes, you read right, someone decided it would be a great idea to sell a ziplock bag of Kanye West's Yeezus Tour Air on Ebay. However, we couldn't help but imagine what Kanye West would do once he found out someone...

Unless you’re on a healthy diet of Prozac and rainbows, you hate your morning commute. You especially hate it when it involves the TTC. Schedules are more “suggested”, than set in stone. Even TTC drivers know the TTC commute is garbage.  Last week, I was on the subway when a conductor had enough and made an announcement: I’m sorry it took 45 minutes to get from Finch to Bloor/Yonge. I’m not happy about it either.* I’m sure he could sense how everyone was cursing him and the stupid...

Have you ever been stuck using your lumpy bag of dank weed as a pillow? Was it comfortable? Probably not. Today is your lucky day because there is a pillowcase called the Giant Stash, created by Steelplant, that looks just like an oversized baggie stuffed with Sour Diesel cannabis. And, it really is big, measuring in at 17” wide by 19” tall.   It all started as a Kickstarter project and got fully funded by enough people who had interest in buying this particular item...

Recently India has banned the broadcast of BBC documentary “India’s Daughter” which includes a controversial interview with a gang-rapist. The film-maker Leslee Udwin had received rare access to the gang-rapist on death row, Mukesh Singh. Home Minister Rajnath Singh summed up the media ban by declaring the prisoner’s interview was “highly derogatory and an affront to the dignity of women.” Mukesh was one of the men who raped and tortured a 23-year-old woman on a...

Montreal indie band Seoul released a new track this week; it is dope and we cannot get enough of it. From DJing sets to producing indie tracks; their “blue, breathless, gentle, absolute” tagline seems to perfectly describe their smooth sounds. Listen to their new single "The Line" below  and visit their soundclound for more sounds.
