Singer/Songwriter Sam Smith Teams Up With Jimmy Napes, Nile Rodgers & Disclosure

Singer/songwriter Sam Smith recently teamed up with an all-star lineup consisting of Jimmy Napes (collaborator on both Naughty Boy's "La La La" and Disclosure's "Latch"), Chic co-founder and guitar player Nile Rodgers (extensively featured on the last Daft Punk album) & prolific house-flavoured pop duo of the year Disclosure just to tease us with a short 2 minutes gem.

The song is a fresh groove topped with proper blue-eyed soul accentuations and a subtle Steely Dan aftertaste. We can only hope this team effort will generate more music soon. See for yourself. Stream below!

Let me start off by saying that the term ''X-mas'' will forever remind me of that moment in history brought to us by goddess, Christina Aguilera or XTINA as she rebaptized herself via lower back tattoo. This was about the same time she decided it was the appropriate time to grace us all with her assless chaps. Looking like that bad bitch from grade 8 who went around bragging that she got it in the ass behind a room divider at one of those hall parties I was never cool enough to go...

Instagram is removing all the fake accounts they can find. This means spambots and accounts that violate the Community Guidelines have been thrown out with the trash. It’s upsetting Instagram-users because they’re having to face that the reality that their internet-popularity was a lie. That’s right, maybe only some of your close friend cared about the photo where the barista misspelled your name. It’s truly shocking. The users that are getting hit the hardest are the ones with the most to lose...

Bare Noize have really grown over the past few years, and whilst they mainly kept their feet firmly in dubstep territory, the duo have recently ventured out. This is the case with the special release that is "Dire/Reticulum", a refreshing bundle of electronic music. There are strong dubstep elements flow throughout both tracks, whether it’s the half time groove or deep bass synths that shake your insides, the lads have brought together the old and the new in spectacular fashion. Kisses can be a lot of things. They can be sexy. They can sweet. They can be so awkward and tongue-y that you'll swear to yourself that you'll never kiss someone from Halifax ever again. Okay, that last one’s a bit personal. This year has been the year of kissing videos. There was the viral video of strangers kissing for the first time, which included pairings of two women, two men, a man and a cougar, and lots of nervous laughter. We all felt a little betrayed when we found out this wasn’t...
